Obra inédita de Marlos Nobre estreia na Argentina.
A obra, Maracatu Coroado ,do compositor Marlos Nobre teve sua estreia mundial no último dia 08 de Agosto no nono Simpósio Internacional da Federação Internacional de Corais na Argentina.

On August 8, Monday, 20:00, the work “MARACATU COROADO” for mixed choir, written by the Brazilian composer MARLOS NOBRE in 2010 and commissioned by the 9º World Symposium on Choral Music will received its world premiere at a Gala Concert, presented by The University of Phillipines MADRIGAL SINGERS, conducted by Mark Anthony Carpio.
In the work “MARACATU COROADO” Marlos Nobre used a text based on the words of the Maracatu of Recife, Pernambuco, where he was born. The music is a free and imaginative evocation of his memories on this great Afro- Brazilian traditional dance in his native town, Recife.
The composer MARLOS NOBRE is acclaimed as the greatest composer of Iberoamerican world, since he won the prestigious Tomás Luis de Victoria Prize in 2004 and is one of the most performed contemporary composers world wide in the recent years.
The choir of the University of Philipines Madrigal Singers is one of the Asia´s most awarded, having won all the top prizes in most of the world´s prestigious choral competitions. They hold the distinction of being the first choir in the world to win the European Grand Prix of Choral Singing twice.
